Wordsplay is Addictive

WordsPlay is to Boggle as Lexulous is to Scrabble - a free, Web incarnation of a popular word game. One caution - the web version is very addictive. WordsPlay also helps build your mot muscles for Scrabble - which is the family pastime par excellence. To have family Scrabble bragging rights - well, its no small gem, akin to a familial Academy Award.
But Wordsplay aint using the Scrabble dictionary!
Okay so Wordspaly goes well beyond the Scrabble dictionary. Just take a look at the screenshot above and see what what words were allowed in the above puzzle [see the list at the top right]. There are two puzzle sizes 4x4 and 5x5 [the latter is for the Real Pros]. You have 3 minutes to find as many words from touching characters including any of the coreners like the I and C in the top two lines of the screenshot. You can play in teams, just follow the sign up rules.
It helps in WordsPlay to have taken that typing class back in high school - faster fingers usually triumph. There is no penalty for guessing wrong. See the number of wrong guesses marked in red in my WordsPlay workout session [top middle of the screenshot marked in red ]. Finally you get your ranking against all the other online players each round. The scores are in the middle table just below the list of words you guessed. Okay, 47th out of 52 is nothing to write home about; but think of the Scrabble muscles!
